The `translit.uk` package provides a straightforward and reliable method for transliterating Ukrainian Cyrillic text into Latin characters. ## Installation

To install the `translit.uk` package, you can use the following commands in R:

## Function Overview

`translit` Function

Description:

The `translit` function converts a given string from Ukrainian Cyrillic to Latin characters using predefined transliteration rules.

Usage:

*Arguments*:

* *string*: A character string in Ukrainian Cyrillic that needs to be transliterated. The input must be of type character
